& standings are based on scores from the sheets
in your games. It is the both teams’/captains’
responsibility to check game sheet to make sure
all games were recorded correctly. Failure to
notify the ref or league that a game was recorded
incorrectly, in a timely manner, will consequently
affect your team’s final results. No protests
of game outcomes / standings will be accepted
for games more than 2 weeks past. Standings are
first calculated by division, wins/losses, head
to head, point differential. If additional stats
are needed, we look at the level of opponents
against which a team has played.
Playoffs:
The top 8 teams from each skill level will qualify
for season ending playoffs.
The schedule is released in three increments:
week 1 by itself, weeks 2 thru 6, and finally
weeks 7 thru 11
When the schedule for weeks 7 through 11 is created,
teams in contention for the playoffs will receive
TBA schedules for week 11 & 12. At the conclusion
of the 12-game session there will be only 2 teams
in each division will be left to play for the
championship; this championship game will be held
the week following normal league play day (first
game of new session). The teams that make it to
the championship are required to bring an additional
$50 per team to cover the additional game, unless
they are signing up for the new session then no
money is necessary because it will be included
in their 12 game will be paying for. Winning team
of each division will be awarded RecBasketball.com
t-shirts.
If
knowing your specific game times for week 11 &
12 is more important than playoffs, just let the
league know by email during week 5 or 6 that you
want to waive the playoffs for a complete set
game time schedule, if you are not in the running
for the playoffs your compete schedule will listed.
Team
challenge: If there is a team you wish to
challenge who may play on a different day, or
in a different league, or a team that previously
beat you and you want a re-match against. Email
us with the particulars and we will put your challenge
on the table. The cost is $55 per team, but if
you are signed up for the session it can be one
of your 12 games so you would not have to pay
the additional $55. This game (you choose) can
take place on any of our league play days Sunday,
Tuesday, or Thursday.
